Beyonce Inspires Paul McCartney

Beyonce and Paul McCartney

Paul McCartney is influenced by Beyonce. The 71-year-old singer/songwriter makes a point of checking out the live shows by current chart artists because he wants to make sure his own concerts don't seem "old fashioned."

"If I'm gonna do a tour I like to go and see what other people are doing. I don't wanna bring my tour out and be amazingly old-fashioned. So if people are going, 'Oh man Beyonce, she was killer!' I like to go there and go, 'Yeah, we can do better than this.'"

Kanye West Rants at Fan

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Concerts / Tours, Hip-Hop & Rap,

Kanye WestKanye West launched an expletive-filled tirade against a fan during his performance in Paris at the weekend.

The "All Of The Lights" hitmaker was furious when an audience member shone a laser pen in his direction at the show in France, causing the star - who was performing as part of he and Jay-Z's Watch The Throne world tour - ordered the man to "chill the f**k out" or be thrown out of the venue.

"You see this guy right here with the green laser? Don't f**k with everybody's show. This is not a f**king game. You're going to get f**ked up and kicked out, I don't want that s**t. So chill the f**k out," he said.

Following his rant, Kanye attempted to get the show back on track: "Are y'all having a good time this evening? I said, are y'all having a good time this evening?"

The gig was shrouded in further controversy because of a Tweet sent by Jay-Z's friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

Jay-Z and Kanye West to Make Another Album

Jay-Z and Kanye WestJay-Z and Kanye West are to record another album together.

The duo - who are currently on a joint European tour - are planning to return to the studio to work on another record following the success of last year's Watch The Throne.

"It's not started yet, but it's coming," producer Mike Dean promised.

In December, Jay admitted he was keen to record with Kanye again, but only after they'd each returned to their solo projects: "It depends on how this thing finishes up. We - I say 'we' because I'm in Throne mode - we're in a great place creatively. You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year. You know, we're really in a great place creatively. We really found our zone."

Jay-Z Has ‘Simple’ Concept For New Album

Jay-ZJay-Z has a "simple" concept and a title for his new album.

The "On to the Next One" rapper is already working on his 12th record, and according to studio engineer Young Guru, has a focused idea of what he wants to say.

"I'm marveled at how smart this guy is. When he told me the concept, I was like 'Why didn't I think of that?' It was just so simple. I can't tell you the title, it's so good it's like, 'Oh my god why didn't I think of that? What made you think of that and why haven't we done that before?' It's just staring us in the face all these years, we could've been put that out as an album concept."

Guru also said Jay and Kanye West teaming for a second collaborative Watch the Throne album, is a "serious consideration," but they are not likely to start on it until next year.

"It has been talked about but hasn't been executed yet. Definitely could happen."

Jay-Z Begins Working on New Album

Jay-ZJay-Z has started working on a new album. The "99 Problems" rapper only released his Watch the Throne album with Kanye West last month, but producer No I.D. said he's already started work on his next studio album.

"Jay has started again. He played me a couple of things. I gave him some music while we were at the Watch the Throne sessions. But with Jay, you never know what he's really doing, thinking, planning until it's really done. I'm sure he'll make a decision one day to make an album very quickly, like he usually does. I think he's at a place where he has visions of what he wants to do, and it's not really dependent on any of us. It's dependent on his vision and he's gonna do it, and hopefully I'll be involved," No I.D. said.

No I.D. and Jay have previously worked together on tracks including "D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)" and "Run This Town." The producer is also working with rappers Nas and Common on their respective albums, and said they are hoping to "revive" hip hop: "We're really trying to revive a certain part of hip-hop that seems to be fading out. They're gonna be full bodies of work that are really dedicated to the fan base."
